The last days of 2016 were very fruitful and inspiring for us, the Natural Explorers. We created our first partnership within the ‘Mountain, I Love You!’ campaign. Lyubomir Popyordanov and his retail chain Stenata recognized that we have a shared mission – to create a stronger and stable relationship between children and youths and the mountains – and expressed their support for us.

‘The campaign is important to us – the mountains welcome the young people of Bulgaria. We know that the culture of mountaineering and environmental responsibility needs to be acquired at a young age. Let’s make the mountains more accessible to more children and youths’, Lyubo said.

Stenata is committed to take part in the ‘Mountain, I Love You!’ campaign, because it shares the same ambition to develop awareness of responsible tourism, responsible behaviour in the mountains, and informed personal choice. The partnership between Stenata and Natural Explorers will unfold into various initiatives and forms. Funds for the campaign will be raised through the purchase of certain products in Stenata shops and through donations. Thus, Stenata’s clients will also become participants in the campaign and will help promote its mission.
